Jan Hardwick is Andy's pen name adopted for his Musical Tales and children's books.

Jan writes to capture kids' imaginations. These books involve kids journeying to fantastical places, meeting unbelievable characters and getting caught up in situations where the grown ups, frankly, haven't a clue! The Musical Tales involve music and instruments and have a magical flavour. They appeal to youngsters (we're all young at heart) who are learning an instrument. Who doesn't want to enjoy the possibilities beyond merely playing?.
